Submitting your dataOnce logged in, the first step is to submit your data in the form of haplotypes. These will be kept private and secure, and will be stored on our system for about one week. As soon as the haplotype data has been processed and accepted, you can see a MARKER map of linkage disequilibrium between your markers. Computing HaplosimilarityThe second step is to invoke the Haplosimilarity algorithm on the submitted data, which takes typically an hour or more to compute, depending on the number of markers in the dataset. Visit the dataset information page for the temporary dataset you have submitted. Follow the link to "Perform haplosimilarity computation for this dataset". This will show a page advising you that the process has started. You can check at any time on your results by following the "your results" link at the top of the MARKER page. Eventually, an entry will be visible showing you that the haplosimilarity calculation has finished. The haplosimilarity scores will then be available as an annotation on the left hand side of the MARKER map for that dataset, for as long as the dataset remains on our system (typically it will disappear after one week of its original submission). |
