How to map your own data
The simplest way to make a MARKER map from your own data is to go from the home page to 'Map your own data' and follow the instructions. You'll be asked to submit a list of markers and a list of haplotypes. Follow the links to see how these must be formatted. At present we can only handle SNP markers, but in the future we'll also accept microsatellites and other multiallelic markers.
There's an alternative way of mapping your data, which allows you to store data and to harness the full functionality of the MARKER toolset (eg building links to dbSNP, EntrezGene and Ensembl). As we're still in beta phase, we're only offering this facility for a limited number of investigators at present.
